Primolut N Norethisterone 5mg

Primolut N (Norethisterone 5 mg) is a potent hormonal medication containing synthetic progestin to treat menstrual disorders (such as amenorrhea, irregular cycles), endometriosis, and delay menstruation. It is generally taken as a single tablet 2-3 times daily, taken 3 days before the expected menstrual period. Use must be under a doctor's prescription and is not recommended for pregnant women.

Content: 5 mg Norethisterone per tablet.
Indications: Delays menstruation, treats irregular menstruation, painful menstrual cramps (PMS), endometriosis, and uterine bleeding.
Menstrual Delay Dosage: 1 tablet 2-3 times daily, starting 3 days before the expected menstrual period, usually for no more than 10-14 days.
Side Effects: Nausea, headache, weight changes, mood swings, and irregular bleeding (spotting).
Contraindications: Pregnancy (Category X), breastfeeding, history of thrombosis/blood clots, liver disease.

Important: Primolut N is not a reliable contraceptive for preventing pregnancy. Rare, serious side effects include the risk of blood clots and liver dysfunction.
